Hello Monday
Well I am sure many of you watched the Superbowl yesterday as we did. I only have one comment CONGRATS SAINTS!! Boy that was some game and I am so happy New Orleans won. They need a boost in that town for sure.
On to the topic of the day “Monday“. Mondays can be such a drag for some people, most actually. So how do you chase away those Monday Blues, you ask? Well one way is to go through your “Gratitude List” in the morning as you are getting ready for your day. Sit down and write up a short list of the things in your life you are most grateful for. In my case, I chose such things as my wonderful husband, two precious dogs and my children of course. Mine is posted right next to my computer in my home office. Put yours somewhere you will see it every morning and evening. On a mirror in the bedroom maybe. Or on the fridge next to all of those adorable drawings your kids have given you.
Wherever you put that “Gratitude List” becomes your mantra for the day. Read it out loud or to yourself and really listen to what it is saying. On the top of my list I have the line; “I give gratitude to the universe for:” So that each time I say the words I am putting the thought out there all around me. You can choose to say it as a sort of prayer if you will. All up to you and how you want to spread that gratitude out there. Positive vibes in the morning and evening have a healing way of brushing away all the bad stuff that might have collected on you either during the night or during your day. Try it soon and see how cleansed it can make you feel. I know, because I do it everyday myself.
